Power Managment not obeyed
For some reason my Windows XP Home Edition doesn't obey the power scheme. It should go into stand by and then hibernate at 15 and 20 minutes respectivley when running on battery. It doesn't do either of them although it is used to.
My computer is a Dell Inspiron 8600 Laptop. |

Perhaps there is a background program running that is keeping your pc 'wake'.
Run Spyware scans and Virus scans and see if anything comes up.
