Like I said the taskbar clock is running fast. I just had to change it for the second time back 1 hour since installing WinXP Pro SP2. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanx

Clock problems are often a sign of a CMOS battery going south. If the mobo for computer in question is more than a couple of years old, it'd be a good canidate for a new battery. Even if there are other issues, it's a maintenance point that a lot of folks forget about.

I had problems with the clock time changing after updates, check in the date/time GUI and make sure that "allow for daylight savings" and "synchronise with the internet" boxes are not checked.
