Hi everyone, I have win xp pro running. Every time I boot up, after log in the system reboots itself. This happens for about 5 or 6 times then stops. Some times when all the programs are loaded and when i try to go on the net it will restart. This is very frustrating. Microsoft error reporting says some device driver failiure. I can't find out which one. Every thing looks fine on the device manager. Also I have the HP dvd 300i drive installed on secondary slave. this is not showing up. It did in the beginning and now dont show. Any clue?

Disable auto restart on error and see if you can get the error, or open up error log and see if the errors are tracked and look up what they say cuased the error.

win xp hung up! IO system verification error?
Hi I posted my problem last week regarding boot problem. My sytem starts up and after few minutes reboots and this will go on for 5 or 6 times then I am able to work without problem. So someone replied and asked me to run/verifier to find out what causes this. Now after I log in I get this message " IO SYSTEM VERIFICATION ERROR in gmfiltr.sys(WDM DRIVER ERROR 224) [GMFILTR.SYS+d08 at F8A17D08] Beginning dump of physical memory physical memory dump complete. contanct your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance. Does anyone can give me a clue as to whats the problem? I have my system on for 20min now in safe mode no problem. That's a Genius mouse driver. Uninstall it in safe mode. Your mouse will work fine with the standard default Windows mouse driver.
