Win2K - Offline Folder Synchronization - Updating changes FROM server only (not TO)
Hi All,
I am using a Win2K Pro machine and make use of the offline folder synchronization functionality. This works well for most items. However, for one folder, I would like to set an option so that any changes made by the user offline are not replicated back to the server, so that when they snychronize, they get any new or updated files from the server, and they also get a new copy of any files that they have amended bringing their offline folder in line with the server but not changing the server based files. Essentially this would be akin to just copying the entire folder over afresh from the server to their HDD each time except that (I am hoping) it would be handled by the synch feature and would only require copying those files that need to be updated. Is that possible? Thanks, David. |
