Removing Setup Files?

Hello, hopefully you can help me with this problem. For some reason the installation CD was in the cd tray one day when the computer was booted up. Now whenever i start up windows it gives me two options to start from, one is regular windows xp, the other is the windwos XP setup. If i'm not in the room when the computer boots up it goes to the setup one and comes up with an error. I was hoping i could somehow remove these setup files from my computer. Thank you for your help.

Control Panel->System icon->Advance tab->Startup and Recovery Settings button.

1. Easy option->Change the "default" system to be used and the time setting to one second.

2. Use the Edit boot.ini option to remove the setup option. (be carefull)
