Thumbnail view in few folders

I set all folders to view by list, but then when I go to My pictures, the pics are all in list. Is there a way to make the whole my pictures folder viewed in thumbnail without having to modify each folder in it?

try the same with "My Pictures" folder.
Open My Pictures folder, change the view to "List".
Then click on Tools->folder options then click "View" tab, now click the button "Apply to All folders" then click "OK"
this should solve the issue.
