In the BIOS, look for "Boot Sequence" and set that to CD-Rom first.

In the bios go to the section;

Boot -->

1. Removable Device [Legacy Floppy]
2. IDE Hard Drive [IBM-DTLA-307030]
3. ATAPI CD-ROM [Disabled]
4. Other boot device [INT18 Device (network)]

Use the arrow keys to scroll down and highlight the number 1 position, hit Enter, and highlight CDROM (arrow keys) and hit Enter. The CDROM should now be in the number 1 postion, or, First boot device, replacing the floppy drive. Now when the system boots it will check the CDROM first for media containing boot records or files. If it finds boot records (bootable CD), it will boot the machine under these boot parameters.

As well, change the following before attempting to load the O/S;

Plug and play O/S YES
Reset configuration data [YES]
Boot Virus Detection [DISABLED]

EDIT:
Forgot to add - When the machine boots and checks the cdrom, you may get an onscreen message to "Press any key to boot from CDROM" (or similar). If so, just hit the spacebar, or, any key, while the message is displayed.
