XP repair
If I am having a problem with windows XP, can I repair windows by inserting my windows CD and hitting "R"?
When would I do this? Does this change my other settings or 3rd party software? (Like if I deleted something important, or if windows doesn't recognize hardware) Will an XP upgrade CD work too? Last edited by at2wooden; 10-16-2005 at 01:16 PM. |

Can you be a little more specific about the problems?, maybe a repair is not necessary but if it is, it is possible to carry out an over the top repair very easily withut loosing any of your settings or files.
