Random Restarts
Just recently I have noticed that my computer will random restart. I first noticed it that it would often restart whenever I would be playing X-Men Legends II. Then it would randomly do it when I wasn't doing anything. I have searched around on the internet and done a few things others with similar problems have done...checked temps....update videocard drivers...but nothing have helped. Whenever the computer restarts it says Windows has recovered from a serious error. Here is where the errors are coming from:
C:\DOCUME~1\MITCH~1.MIT\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER8ce4.dir00\Mini101605-03.dmp C:\DOCUME~1\MITCH~1.MIT\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER8ce4.dir00\sysdata.xml Anyone have/had similar problems? Suggested solutions? |

I've had the same problems. I just reinstalled Windows and it seems to be rid of it. I'd be interested in what others say.

Have you attempted any diagnostics on the hard drive or memory?

Those are not errors - those are the dump files.
Control panel, system, advanced, startup and recovery - uncheck restart on error. next time, it will bluescreen instead of reboot, read the screen for clues, the first few lines are what you need to research. |
