xp partition question
I got 2 partions on my 40 gig hd. First partition resides the windows xp and d the drive is where the data resides. I want to reinstall xp. will the data in the d drive safe if I delete the c partition and recreate it?

Yes it will. Provided you remember to do the following during the blue stage install of XP:
1) Select the current XP partition and delete it (do not select or delete the second partition) 2) There will be a new unpartitioned area where the XP partition used to be. Select it and create a new partition 3) Make sure that you select the new partition before pressing enter to install XP to it. |
