uknown error operation cancelled
This is the message I am getting when I try to install a diagnostic program from the floppy dirve. "Uknown error, operation cancelled due to restrictions on this system"
I need to run this program to fix some problems with a computer running windows ME I have run bug doctor and fixed all the errors it found but I want to run this other program but cant get it to install and just get that message. I have installed the program successfully on another computer with ME and it installed just fine. Any help appreciated

I just went to their site and it's a web based installer, not a floppy maker.

Thanks glc. I guess I will have to install it from the website.
I had a copy on one of my comps and copied it to the floppy and it worked okay on another computer but wont install on the one I am having problems with. Will try and install it from the website. |

If you did save the .exe, try copying it to the hard drive first instead of trying to install it from the floppy.
