Try turning on your CAPS lock key and tripple check what you type versus what the key says.

0 vs. O
8 vs. B
1 vs. I

I know it's obvious, but stranger things have happened.

Common errors besides 0/O and 1/I are:

8/B
6/G
U/V
4/A
2/Z
5/S

Newegg of all places would not sell nonlegit software. Dig out the magnifying glass or stick the cert in a copier that does enlargments.

you got two choices
1. call MS
2. send it back as defective

be sure that there is no resdue from a previous windows install on the hard drive,
be sure that the system is set to boot from cd drive.
be sure the cd key is the orginal one that came with the cd your installing.
be sure your typing it in correctly.
be sure that it is a good cd and not a copy of one.

thats about all I have found that can cause any problems.
just be sure.
