Windows 98 Updates?

Can anyone tell me where I can get any Windows 98SE updates, since Microsoft doesn't support 98 anymore? Or are there any available? Thanks

Thanks for answering so quickly. I've just been to the microsoft update site and saw that they would update 98 until June 30, 2006. Thanks again.

Windows 98 updates

Does anyone know if I can get the updates for Windows 98 on CD-Rom since they will stop in 2006?

Microsoft never offered Win98 updates on CD that I'm aware of.

Try this:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog

I believe you can download them all and save them.

. . . sort of a P.S. here: At one point (February 2004) Microsoft did have a "Security Update CD" available for a little while [it was discontinued shortly before Service Pack 2 for XP came out]. If you know someone who has that disk, it is "redistributable", and has all the Security Patches through Feb 2004 for Win98/Me/2000/XP. It can save a bit of downloading time. Making your own from the catalog that glc linked you to has the advantage that you could add the Updates since then: They should easily fit on one CD.

. . . Gary
