Hi
Please can anyone suggest any helpful tips. I recently bought a new pc, and today I cannot get it to power up, it keeps rebooting and will only start up in safe mode, in this I cant use nortons go back to restore my PC any help Last edited by leasinliverpool; 10-31-2005 at 04:41 PM. When the Safe Mode option appears do you also have an option to Restore to the Last working Configuration (or something like that)? That allows selection of a previously created restore point within XP. Worth a try.

I have tried the restore and it seems successful until it restarts then the whole process begins again and again will only start in safe mode, i have had this problem since i purchased this pc but i have always rectified the problem using nortons go back software? im begining to think i need to take it back to my supplier

You may be right. If it's new/under warranty, I'd take it back and have them make it right. Further attempts at repair that you make may void the warraty.
