window pops up even when I don't select it
There will be times when I have multiple Internet Explorer windows open and multiple Windows Explorer windows open as well. Sometimes I'll be looking at an IE window and need to go into a windows explorer window. I have related windows grouped in the taskbar (I'm using Windows XP obviously). When I go to click on the winexplorer group suddenly an IE window will come into focus without me ever selecting it. Sometimes it happens in the reverse order (a winexplorer window focuses when I'm looking for an IE window). I normally never get this problem when I've first installed Windows (in fact I usually see it as a reason to reinstall Windows because it starts happening after a while when it's a good indication that there's some bad corruption or possible registry error going on), but this time it's not so normal. Pretty recently I had reinstalled XP and recently it started happening. I have antivirus software on here and I don't go to questionable web sites that would likely carry spyware (although I have checked for spyware and didn't find anything that looked like it would cause the issue) nor do I normally install program that carry spyware. Has anyone else had this window focusing irritation? What could be a/the fix?
