Windows Pro x64 to x32 question

Can a workstation currently running Windows Professional x64 be reformated with a x32 version. Too many programs are not working and I can't deal with it at the moment. A $2000 AutoCad upgrade isn't an option right now!!

Best thing to do is to burn all your data to a CD, then do a new install of Windows XP Pro. You will need to reinstall your apps and put your data back on.
