Slow photoshop on XP

Hey gang,

I have a question...I recently reformatted. So photoshop was running great. Then I had an amazingly dumb moment and proceeded to install 5000 fonts. Now PS is slooooow. Would this be causing it? Is there a way to uninstall the non-window fonts or do I have to simply delete each on i added separately. Also, is it possible to install fonts in a folder besides C:/windows/fonts.

Thanks alot.

Way to many fonts will cause it to slow down for sure... Uninstall the fonts your not going to use....

No need to uninstall or delete, just create a font folder someplace else (not in the Windows directory...on another partition or in My Documents) and then drag and drop the fonts you don't use into the other folder.
