Hi, I have a problem, I hope someone can help.
My computer keeps giving the error 0x7f (0xD, others are 0's) at "random" times, I mean I haven't found anything common about the things happening when it hangs. As I read through the info about this error, i suspect that my memory is corrupted though I can't be sure. I put the memories to other slots, but it didn't help. It may be also some driver error, so I tried to use the Driver Verifier and wanted to check all the drivers. Then when I reset I get an error: Special pool detected memory corruption, 0xc1 (0x84482ff0,0x84482ffc,0x0009400c,0x24)... So I must use some other method to find the origin of the error. These hangs are happening very randomly, sometimes it goes for a week and it works fine, and sometimes it happens like 3 times a day. Please help, what should I do now? Or how could I check if the memory is corrupted? Can you recommend some good in-depth memory checker? I have to hurry up, my warranty will expire soon ![]() Specs: P4 3.4GHz (no overclock), ASUS P5AD2 Deluxe, HIS ATI Radeon X600XT 128MB, Kingmax 512MB DDR2 SDRAM, the other memory is the same if I remember well. Many thanks! |

I suspect the memory or the HD itself is fault. Most probably your hd is failing. Better backup everything now before its too late.

That's the worst thing that could happen to me... I take your advice...
But any memory checker which you think could find if memory is fault? |
