Weird Startup Problems

My computer is acting strangely. If I shut it down overnight and turn it on in the morning, it takes up to five minutes to boot up and tells me it has just recovered from a serious system error. The strange thing is, once it boots up, if I were to restart it, it reboots in much less than a minute. I do not understand why this could be happening. It is a very new computer that I just recently built and has been like this for a while now.

My comp has:

-two sets of http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820145449 (2 -gigs total)

-two http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148040 that are raid0 together

Thanks a lot.

Your links are screwed up. Type out your system specs.

What operating system are you using?

What kind of background programs are you running? Anti-virus, firewall, etc...

What have you done to fix the problem?

Any other problems with this computer?

Sorry, it is an AMD 64bit 3500+ with two 80gig Raid0 harddrives. 2 gigs of Corsair RAM (4 sticks of 512), EPoX 9NPA+SLi nForce4 motherboard. Antec 550Watt power supply.

I have done nothing to try to fix it, as I do not know what to do. If I just restart the computer once it's up and running, it restarts lightning fast, but if I shut it down for just a little while, it takes forever to boot up and gives me a message several times saying that it's just recovered from a serious error, and when I "report" it, it tells me that it's some driver issue, but it will not tell me what driver caused it.

Using WindowsXP Pro.
No other major problems.

Thanks

Do you have any USB or firewire devices plugged in during bootup? Try unplugging all devices other than keyboard and mouse and see if you have a problem.

Nothing but keyboard/mouse plugged in. Again, what I don't understand is why it would only have so much trouble booting up if it's been shut down for a little while as opposed to just being restarted or shut down and immediately started back up.

Have you tried running a BIOS update. I see http://www.epox.com/USA/article.asp?ID=1936 has a fix with issue related to PWRON
