(least this is what im guessing) and because i had the font deleted windos picked wingading to replace it on everything in the os... atleast open file windows and prefrence windows. I am almost postive that all the settings in the display settings are correct because i have checked them even with me not being able to read anything! any way heres a picture of whats going on any help would be awesome because as you can imagine its kinda hard to change stuff by going on memory.

Do you have tahoma.ttf in your fonts folder?
Addendum: or for that matter, do you have Arial ? and Microsoft Sans Serif? Last edited by Statica; 11-30-2005 at 08:57 PM. |

Try this: (I'm assuming that your fonts are not corrupt and are working fine.) Download the text file that I've put in and save it to your desktop. Rename it to fonts.reg (make sure that you can view file extensions) Now double click on it, it would ask if you want to merge contents to your registry. Say yes. There is nothing destructive about this registry file, it is just changing your shell fonts back to Arial or Microsoft Sans Serif. You may need to reboot to see any changes.
