Slipstreaming *after* SP2

Alrighty, I successfully slipstreamed SP2 into my WinXP Pro CD (more out of trying it out, I suppose, since imaging is so versatile) with no problems.

I know you can also slipstream in other updates into a Windows install share. How? Does each manual update download have the same extraction switch as the SP2 download, or is it slightly different---or even there at all? Is there a certain order I need to install the updates in? (For the record, I do have a current list of windows critical and optional updates as of 11-29-05, and can post here if that will help) What else should I have/know/keep in mind for slipstreaming in updates that came after SP2?

...If there's a walkthrough page that covers not just SP1/SP1a/SP2 for WinXP, I'd certainly be grateful---I found the one people here have referenced by googling, but can't seem to readily find too much about my specific question.

Thanks in advance!

Hi ChromWolf -

See if anything in this MSKB helps for your project: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;814847

I haven't tried this myself [since Ghost and Acronis are, like you mention, pretty convenient], but at first glance Microsoft's procedure seems fairly straightforward.
