Blue Screen Help

I have a Dell Inspiron 8600, it has the Intel Mobile technology. I called Dell
yesterday and of course warranty expired last month!!!
My problem is when I am booted into destop, it will not take long before you see the dreaded blue screen. If I disable Intel Wireless, I will not get the blue screen. I uninstalled VIRUS AND FIREWALL protection but still when wireless is enabled it happens. I booted into safe mode and uninstalled then reinstalled the intel wireless driver....but it still happens. Here is error message: STOP:0x000000D1 (ox0e63729A,0x00000002,0x00000000,0xBA17F371)
w22n51.sys - Address BA17F371 base at BA116000, Datestamp
40054b01
The w22n51.sys is a driver for intel wireless. Any suggestions?

What version of the driver are you trying to install. It seems to be a very common error with the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 BG card that's likely on your system. It seems to be a very flaky driver that seems to blue screen when you use WPA, but sometimes doesnt do it on WEP.
My suggestion would be to do a driver update from: http://support.intel.com/support/wir.../CS-010623.htm with a 9.xx.xx series driver, that seems to be more stable.

Thanks for help. I went to Intels website and downloaded their driver. They recommeded using Dell driver though which is Intel but modified. The new driver seems to be working......Thank God.
I have know clue what made other driver buggy cause never had problems before in 18 months I had laptop. Laptop was turned off for 3 days cause went on Thanksgiving trip....then surprise.

The same driver is available from Dell as well: http://support.dell.com/support/down...&deviceid=5896

Personally I've found the Intel reference drivers to be extremely stable and newer.
