Help anyone?
Ok I am re-posting on this forum in case anyone on this has heard of this issue, I have an annoying desktop backround that wont go away if I try to change it.All it is, is a backround saying "Warning you are infected with spyware blah blah but I know that the desktop backround itself is because of spyware. Now I have ran a few spware scans and they have not helped and I am guessing that it is in the registry somewhere the question is......where? If it isn't a reg issue how can I get rid of it?
Just one more question. I have a Compaq sr1220nx here and it is saying it is missing c:\windows\system32\system file and won't boot. Neither fixboot, fixmbr or chkdsk helped at all. Is ther anyway to replace this file without doing a full system restore?? |

Let's keep all responses in the thread Jag has linked to. And please no crossposting, Hags. One thread per problem please.
