Services

How can i remove/delete items from Administrative services?

You can either go to the registry (using regedit) .. go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services and delete the service you dont want.
Alternately, you can do it from the CLI (START > RUN > cmd)
and issue the command:
sc delete Service_Display_Name
for example (this is just an example, so please dont do it)
'sc delete PlugPlay' will delete plug and play

To see the Service Display Name for a particular service you can use the command sc query

Hi Statica, Ta for info, have tried but as i expected it says service not installed.
This item in services has been left over from a previous instal and i need to get it out to reinstal programme.
