How do I safely remove second operating system?

I set up my computer that has two hard drives with a second Windows Installation on drive D.

Now when I boot to it I get a message that says it can’t find the user profile, even though it worked yesterday. It then opens Windows with a blank screen and the only thing that works it Task Manager.

I would like to remove it and have the boot menu go back to normal.

Can I just delete the Windows installation and Documents and Settings folders or is there some process for removing it.

Thanks for the help.

Mike
