Ok, automatic updates just updated my pc, now my bios got reset, and my sata hard drive isint showing, and the drivers that make it work, aparrently.. install but "this device cannot start (code 10)"
so.. how do I roll back an automatic update.. or.. fix this.. microsoft is seriously getting on my nerves, I thought updates helped my pc, not broke it!

To use the System Restore program on XP:
Start-->Programs-->Accessories-->System Tools-->System Restore It will give you (2) options at the first screen: - Restore computer to an earlier time - Create a restore point You will want to Restore your computer to an earlier point. Click the 'Next' button and it will give you a small calender. Some of the numbered days will be in bold. These show you have restore points on them. Just select the last known good restore point from when XP created one (or in some cases when the user created one) and that should fix you up. AK
