Security Centre icon pops up

Hi,
whenever i start my PC an icon (Security Centre icon) pops up on the Taskbar, bottom right of the screen with the message :

Quote:
Your computer may be at risk.
Norton Antivirus is turned off.
Click this baloon to fix the problem.
After a few seconds the icon disappears.

When i go to the Control Panel - Security Centre i can confirm that
Firewall, Automatic Updates
and Virus Protection are all ON.

So why does this icon always show up at Startup?

Sounds like security center is starting up before norton is fully loaded and then turning the alert off when norton starts.

You can select the "Change the way Security Center alerts me" option and turn off the notifications if you want.

I get the same thing here on XP Home SP2 and Norton Internet Security 2005, since I work with sensitive stuff this was especially freaky until I prooved using online security checkers that I was turned on. I worried that some how a virus etc was tirning off both the warning and the protections, but making it appear to be good.
