XP will not remember passwords.
I'm sure this will be an easy one for you pros...I did a search but could not find any useful answers...
Here goes... Whenever I log onto a web site and check the box that asks to remember me the next time I visit my damn PC doesn't remember and I have to re-enter the password each time. Cookies are enabled...so I don't think that is the problem. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. |

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Content under Personal Information click Auto Complete to check what options you want to set.

Thanks...but not what I'm talking about. I don't want it to remember the passwords locally.
Scenario: I log onto e-bay. I type my login and password. AND I check the box that indicates "Keep me signed in on this computer unless I sign out." However the next time I try to access e-bay I have to go through the whole procedure again. This site does it also...If I check the "remember me" box I still have to enter my info to log in again the next time. Know what I mean? Thanks. |

Yes...cookies are enabled. Here is what I did. My privacy settings were set at medium. Which I guess is the default when you load XP fresh. Under the privacy tab I clicked "sites" and added this site and e-bay. Now it works fine. Thanks to all who replied!
Have a Merry Christmas. |
