Should I be here

I have problems with startup and shutdown and everything in between but it's more a problem with like random programs, I was wondering if this was the right forum for this question?
I've got Windows XP Home

you need to change the title, and since we dont know the problem, i think this should go in software in general. but dont worry about that let the mods fix this, thats what theyre there for.

SO whats the problem details?
also post system specs.

Have you scanned for viruses, spyware, trojans and hijackers with updated definitions yet?

Need more info about your computer. Post the specs and list all the programs running at startup.
