Win XP activation
Hi, was wondering if there were a set amount of times you can use your windows home xp activtation key?

i don't think there is an exact number but i am not positive... basically only one copy of windows can be legally active at one time, according to the microsoft EULA. you can install and reinstall all you want but will sometimes have to call microsoft to get a new set of numbers they will give you. I went to reactivate on my new machine today, and had to call microsoft because there was no way for them to know that I had givin my old machine the boot and built a new one (which means I am still using my copy of XP on only one machine). if you call and are within the EULA you should have no problem.
