setup is not working
hi guys.
can any body help please? i have recently experienced few problems with my computer. 1.microsoft help and support is no longer working; saying that helpctr.exe is not found. it is actually still in the system i could find it; but when you click on it it doesn't open. 2. system information doesn't open either, when you click on it. 3.some programs with setup.exe don't install when you click on setup. surprisingly i have been able to install these programs in safe mode. all these happened after i formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows XP and SP2. the system is running otherwise fantastic. does anyone have a bright idea to help me fix any of these problems? i havecombed the net to no avail. your help is appreciated.
