Dell Inspiron 5100 Windows XP Problem
I recently wanted to do a clean install of windows xp on my dell laptop. everything went fine, BUT now when i boot it up it asks me if i want to run
windows xp home edition or windows xp home edition. does this mean that the pc has the operating system on it twice? if not, how do i stop that screen? thanks a lot jeff |

go: Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced Tab -> Under 'Startup and Recovery' click 'Settings' select your defualt Operating system and then uncheck the 'Time to display list of operating systems:' box.
Or, in the same place choose edit and delete the one you no longer want |
