I can't find it!
They want me to go to this key in registry to get rid of apyware. I can't seem to find this key.
What is this?>>>> , the key Software\ in this key below? In the Root key HKEY_CURRENT_USER, the key Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main has a value "Start Page" that has likely been reset to something. In the Root key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, the key Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main has a value "Start Page" that has likely been reset to something like http://yourbookmarks.ws/ thanks |

That's just the next level down in the registry (kinda like how directories are nested inside each other in DOS). You just have to run regedit to get into the registry, then on the left side where all the registry info is, click on the plus sign beside HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then the plus sign beside Software, etc.....each time the registry will expand and show the sub entries below each one. When you find the one marked Main, left click on it once and the entry you're looking for should be in the list that comes up on the right half of the screen. Should be whatever your start page is normally set to, from the looks of it.
