Urgent Help Needed!!System Freezes while upgrading to XP Pro
Hi PC Guys & Gals,
I have one big problem here. I am trying to upgrade my Windows XP home to XP pro for the last 2 days!!!!! The problem I encountered is that everytime when it copies files, it will freeze...and I have to redo my installation again....In fact, each time I redo my upgrade, the system will freezeI appreciate it if you could help me ASAP... Use the hard drive maker's diagnostic software to check the drive first. If it's good, zero fill the drive and do a fresh install. If you have files on there you want to save, install that hdd in another pc and transfer them. Just make sure the other pc is running NTFS format if that's what is on the system currently.
