you know i had the same problem on one of my computers it was weird i notice my comp was slower and alot of HD space was being taken so i decided to Reformat i notice 2 partitions i just deleted both of them and started a new one
i would just save everything thats important on the computer onto Cds and start a whole new but someone might have a better suggestion

If they are both on one hard drive they must be in different partitions or at least on different subdirectories. Does he get a boot menu when he boots up?
You can try just deleting the "extra" installation by deleting the directory where it is installed or formatting just the partition that it's on.

yeah he gets to choose which one, and no its not partitioned, at least I don't think so, all I have is his word (and he doesn't know computers, and yelled at me for wiring it wrong, because I rushed and told me I don't know anything, yet he comes and asks me stuff lol) anyhow yeah, I think it's in a different sub folder but what would i be looking for? Windows (or what ever it's named as)?
