Missing Drive
I have 2 disk drives and the primary drive has 2 partitions in it. When it was turned on, the 2nd partition (e
on the primary drive isn't displayed in Windows Explorer. However, it can be seen on Disk Management (as free space) and CMOS. What happened? I didn't do anything to it.

Programs like TweakUI have an option to hide partitions/drives found under My Computer....

If it's showing as free space, it's not even a partition yet. Disk Management can create a partition in the free (unallocated) space. It has to be a partition before it can be seen anywhere else.

Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately, I already tried those. The missing drive is old and is a partition of the primary drive. I have quite a number of files in there. It's also where I keep all of my games. When I turned on the pc yesterday, it just disappeared like that. Now the drive is a free spaced partition under Disk Management. |
