DOS Auto Reboot In Windows XP

January 13, 2006

Guys,

On my Win 98SE box, when I run Norton Ghost, I put this on the floppies

so that after the job is done my computer will reboot to my desktop:

set comspec=c:\command.com
c:
cd\
set winbootdir=c:\windows
c:\windows\win.com

I'm now working on a buds WInXP Dell Laptop and using that on his Ghost

floppies won't work. What do I have to change to get HIS box to auto

reboot to desktop like mine?

Thanks in advance.

On my XP build, win.com is located in the C:\windows\system32 folder. You might try looking here:
