Windows media plyer 8
I have suddenly lost the ability to Copy to Cd or device, any ideas of what to try please?

I get a message that says, Connect your portable device, the press F5, also copy music is not highlighted.

Upgrade to WMP 9. WMP 7 and 8 had problems, 9 is solid.

Thanks GLC, I have been quite happy with 8 as i believe it is not as greedy as 9 etc. It used to work OK and i was wondering what stopped the copy to CD working. I think it must of been something i have done.

Hi GLC, Been looking for WMP 9 but i dont see it for XP, will the version for windows 2000 be OK?

Windows Media Player 9 Series is no longer available for Windows XP.

Thanks for your effort GLC, i have in store now,I have fixed the problem with 8 however. I had IMAPI turned of, turned it on and all works OK.
