Question Message popup?

Years ago I had a little app that was a part of Win98, I think that allowed messaging from one PC to another on my LAN. Is it buried somewhere in XP?

You are thinking of Winpopup - which doesn't have a graphical equivalent in 2K or XP. If you use net send, you have to enable the Messenger service, which invites spam popups from the Internet.
