Windows Update
I am having a problem with 2 updates that will not install correctly.. or it says they have installed, but few minutes later, it is asking me to update the same files I just updated.. I've tried this over and over, rebooting in between updating and such. Same result.
These are the 2 WinXP Home updates I am talking about.. ~Security Update for Windows XP (KB896428) A security issue in Telnet has been identified that could allow an attacker to learn information about your Windows-based system. You can help protect your computer by installing this update from Microsoft. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer. and.. ~Security Update for Windows XP (KB905749) A security issue has been identified in the Plug and Play service that could allow an authenticated attacker to compromise your Microsoft Windows-based system and gain control over it. You can help protect your computer by installing this update from Microsoft. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer Anyone know what's up? |

Is it possible that something in the services.msc would cause this? I have the Automatic Updates set to Automatic in services.msc. Is there something else in there that would effect updates and the probem I am having?
