Help! My PC Keeps on Restarting
I am having a big problem here and it has been affecting my work each day. It is even frustrating when I just started keying in my username & password then suddenly the PC restarts by itself...It happened when my colleague help me to move this PC over to another workstation...At first,I never encounter such problem...
I am using Windows 2000, pentium 4. It was a DIY PC and i got it from a colleague. What is the possible solution to this problem? Could I just reformat everything? I have little knowledge on PC Support so I really hope you guys could help me solve this problem. Thank you so much! |

Right-click on "My Computer", then select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab. Click on the Settings button under Startup and Recovery. Under System Failure, uncheck "Automatically restart". Now you will be able to see the error message that is causing the restart, and we can troubleshoot from there.
