Windows XP Installation Errors

I installed a new motherboard and ddr ram and my computer kept restarting when it got to the Windows XP logo. I decided to try and do a windows xp repair. I got to the copying files part and I started to get errors saying that it could not copy certain files, synceng.dll, suyncui.dll. I quit the setup and formatted my whole drive and went to setup again and got errors during the loading files part of the setup. I put in a new RAM chip. Disconnect every device except the cdrom harddrive and monitor car. The celeron 1.7ghz is running at 35 degrees. I stopped getting errors at the loading files part of setup but still get errors during copying of files, and different file errors different times. I have a 280 watt power supply. Can anyone help?

Please post complete system specs, including the brand and model of the PSU.

If you have more than one stick of memory, try just one stick at a time.
