Change English to Spanish ???
The guy I am helping with his computer is sending it to his relative in Mexico.
Since the relative does not speak/read English , he wants to know how they can use the programs such as Word, etc. He uses Win 98SE. Does he have to buy a new OS and programs in Spanish , or is there some converter to use? Any ideas? Thanks |

He should go into Control Panel and set it up for Region and Languages (they do Spanish by country so his local 'quirks' will be there.).
He sets the computer up for 'local zone'(Date and Time) as well.

If you do that, it will be set up for a Spanish keyboard, date and currency details, etc. but all the menus and stuff will still be in English - you have to buy a Spanish OS to have all that in Spanish.
