Where is my backup!

I am looking in my start - all programs - accessories - system tools - backup, but there is no backup program. Where did it go or how can I install it.

If you have XP Home, it doesn't come with. See this for information on how to install it.

well I found the download but the site you referred me to also says you can backup but not restore, does this mean the backup file is useless or what. Anyone have any advice or info or solution to this???

The back up utility is on the XP cd,you'll have to root around to find it or on the page linked it shows you where to look on the cd.
Once installed,backup will back up files of your choice,the most common files or the entire system,that's your choice.
Once backed up the files can be restored,mind you they tend to look for their original homes,i.e. Favorites will look for the Favorites folder,etc.
