Sreamline XP Howto ?

Hi All, I am running xp home and just ran a speed test and came up with 491Kbs, I am on a wireless sys and the speed of the puter to bring up sites I'm going to seems to take to long to load, This puter is used to just surf the web. My question is can anyone direct me to a list of things that need to be running in Processes for this puter to operate properly , also things that need to be in startup, Have disabled a bunch of startup items and it has made a differance but don't know what else can be disabled and still have the computer still work. If someone could tell me where to look it would be of great help. Thanks.....Terry

Be very carefull that you don't disable anything that needs to run for any of your programs or components to function correctly.

If you can use a wired connection, that is likely to help.
