Looking for help on a basic problem. I installed AOL's free internet server offer. However I found that it took my PC over so I cancelled my subsciption. This is were my proublems started. I deleted AOL from my system and it took loads of files from my system also. After a lot of fidling and fumbeling in the dark i got my system running after a fashion. Now i find that on boot up the windows start up option hold on the screen untill 15 sec pass or i select the required option. This did not happen before and is anoying as I can seem to find the command to set this option to auto.
Any takers on how to sort this problem ? |

You will have to remove the read only attributes on the C:\MSDOS.SYS file which is also a hidden file, then edit it. You will find a line that says BootMenu=1, change it to 0.
