Ghosting....

We have a server with more than 1 partition - is there software ( i dont think ghost does more than 1 partition ) that does this - and its a server, so it has to be legit more or less, we'd rather not have any 3rd party type stuff if you know what i mean...

Any suggestions are appreciated!!

Ghost can clone an entire disk consisting of more than one partition. In addition, you could ghost each partition manually; it would just be more of a hassle to restore if necessary.

what version of ghost will ghost more than 1 partition at a time?

9.0 +?

I have 7.5 and it will clone an entire disk. Just select Disk...To Image instead of Partition...To Image.

ok - so im assuming System Works 2006 should have no issues doing this...

ill have to check it out - thanks for the tip -

any other suggestions on products/software etc are still appreciated

Acronis True Image is very nice:

They have both home and corporate versions with the latter having a lot more features. Both can image an entire drive.

kilgore, you by chance play everquest? - lol - i knew a guy named kilgore from there - and i believe his last name was troutfisher - lol

also - as im reading about acronis - is there anything that it does that ghost doesnt?
