question reguarding XP installation
just a quick question, i just got my PC, and about to try installing xp, but i dont have a floppy drive for boot disc, is it possible to intall from CD? its my 1st time doing this so any advice would be appreciated. anythin i should know before i start? thnx in advance.

You do not need a floppy for XP. Enter the BIOS and rearrange the boot order so that CD-Rom (or whatever your disk drive is with the XP disk in it) is at the top of the list... (if needed, remove harddrive disks from the list). Then, when you power on, it will ask you if you to press any key to boot from CD. Do so, and continue on with the normal XP installation.
