I know how to put it in but where to find the correct boot .ini file to enter .It doesn't show when I search in C:\ .It does show up when I do a search in D:\. I can't boot to the other drive with out it. It doesn't show up when I reboot.

If I read this right you need to edit the boot.ini for C:\ right? You can find it by clicking Start> Run, type sysdm.cpl, and then click OK.
On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
Under System Startup, click Edit.

Or you can type edit boot.ini at the command prompt and use the legacy edit tool.

I'll save you the what to put in there since you already know what you need.

Thanks that was great ,worked like it should . I had to go to the command prompt and do it that way . I didn't have the edit button under system start up.
