Windows update keeps failing
what would cause windows update to fail on a certain update? I seem to remember that by deleting a certain file this problem was solved. Or can I rollback windows to a particular date?

when you say it fails does it download it then keep prompting you to download it again? or something else entirely?
give this a shot http://www.updatexp.com/windows-upda...prompting.html failing that check all your services are running properly. Matty G |

are you running zonealarm with security settings set to "automatic"?
if so, change it to "manual" and allow the "microsoft installation..." (or whatever it's called)to run.
